Greetings from Stuttgart

Erstellt am: 30.04.17

Welcome to this second special English episode of Chip & Charge – once again recorded live in Stuttgart with Rene Denfeld. If you wonder about the noise in the background – it’s the doubles final being played while we recap the happenings of this unique week in Stuttgart. We also look ahead to what it all means for the rest of the clay season.

What to make of the two finalists for example? Is Kristina Mladenovic ready to compete for the big titles and can Laura Siegemund bring the siege to Rome, Madrid or Paris?

Of course, we also look at Angelique Kerber’s – admittedly short – week. By the way if you want a more in depth discussion on Kerber and what she means for tennis in Germany listen to our first episode from last Thursday (link). There were a few sound problems in the beginning of that episode but the part covering Kerber – starting from about 16.20 – should not be affected too much. We enjoyed doing these podcasts and hope you will have as much fun listening.
